    1. Funny question actually, the agar seemed to be a huge issue for myself and my teammates. We had to remake our agar gel every step of the way.

  1. It sounded like you chose to study this topic, is there a specific reason why you chose this topic?

    1. We studied this topic to learn about the DNA damage pathway in hopes to learn more about ways it can be repaired in human cells. Human cells that have a failed DNA damage response can lead to many diseases.

    1. We used online databases like Blast, Primer 3 and Benchling to help us determine the strongest possible primer to use.

  2. Great job! This was engaging and interesting! How did you know which primers to use and what kinds of experiments would you like to perform in the future o better understand Cory.

    1. We used online databases like Blast, Primer 3 and Benchling to help us determine the strongest possible primer to use. We would first repeat this experiment and run a qtPCR since ours did not work. Once we have done that there are other experiments that would allow us to determine how much involvement Cory has.

  3. Hi Sophie! Great presentation! If Cory was apart of the DNA damage repair pathway, how would your future experiment change?
