Do you believe that the use of pine needle extract can be used against other viral bacteria similar to Salmonella? On that note, why did you choose Salmonella to study in the first place as compared to other bacteria?
salmonella is one of the more antibiotic resistant bacteria and it is of particular relevance due to its t3ss that allows it to bypass the macrophage. pine needle appears to be quite effective on other bacteria as well.
Among all other substances with antimicrobial properties that you considered testing, how did you choose pine needle extract? I found this fascinating.
we chose pine needle extract for its uses as a antimicrobial and herbal remedy in antiquity, it also is plentiful and found in nature making it a perfect choice.
