    1. The drugs that we tested are already effective chemotherapy agents. We hoped that they would have antibiotic properties and benefit antibiotic research.

    1. We assumed that we would have similar results seeing as we tested the same thing. All we know is that their results showed significantly more bacterial death.

  1. what was the difference between your group and the other group who tested the same compound? What made yours a hit? or was it just by coincidence and you need to run the experiment again?

    1. The difference between our data and their’s was that they were getting more and stronger hits. Because we were seeing less promising results, we decided to run our experiment again.

  2. Was there a difference between your group and the other group? What might have caused yours to be a hit when it wasn’t for them?

    1. It actually was the opposite, we were getting less “hits” than them which is why we did the experiment again.

  3. Was there a difference between your group and the other group? What might have caused yours to be a hit when it wasn’t for them?

    1. My thought was that it is not very strong as an antibiotic, and rather limits the growth of the bacteria, but only at its highest dose.

  4. How did you choose the specific Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors that you tested in your experiments?

    1. Pam already had these drugs and had done research on them so we figured they would be a safe bet to work with.
