We over diluted during this part of the experiment. Instead of the 10 percent concentration we wanted to test, we accidentally tested the growth of the Salmonella at 1 percent concentration.

I think that there are other compounds responsible for antibacterial properties in the mugwort plant due to the research we conducted showing clearly that our compounds both did not inhibit the growth of Salmonella at all.
The Mueller-Hinton Agar Plate does not need a negative or a positive control that the compounds are soluble in, whereas, the max dose experiment does. The Mueller-Hinton plate also gives us a visual representation of the inhibition of bacteria, whereas the max dose experiment gives us a numerical value of absorption of the well plates.
