We quantified expression using Fiji by adjusting brightness and contrast and measuring intensity. After that, we obtained numbers that we analyzed according to a table in Excel that our instructor provided, removing the background and normalizing the information obtained.

In the second column, we have our Gene-specific (Rdn2) untreated, in this case, we obtained an expression ( a band present at 255 bp). In the third column, we have our Gene-specific (Rdn2) and Hydroxyurea (DNA reagent damage), this band at 255 bp is brighter, meaning that there was an increase in expression after DNA damage.
