    1. The WD40 gene was selected due to having no previous research conducted on it, which could lead to new discoveries in DNA damage repair.

  1. Hello Biggerstaff!

Great presentation! I loved your enthusiasm and how devoted you were to your work on T. t

More on the genetic side, although we can see that WD40 is not directly involved in the DNA damage response pathway, was there any research that showed it could be indirectly involved?

Overall great presentation! Looking forward to hearing your answer

    1. The WD40 gene could be indirectly involved in DNA damage response, though there is currently no research conducted to determine this. It is inherently difficult to determine an indirect involvement due to the need for multiple factors to be utilized in main involvement.

  2. Great video! Where would you shift focus on after the Wd40 gene? is there another gene that you believe could be responsible for DNA repair?

    1. The best choices would be genes tested this semester in the cellular biology lab, especially those with promising results. This would allow more trials to be run to determine the validity of positive results.
