Very well done! What is it about Gram negative bacteria that makes them more resistant to antibiotics? LikeLike Reply
Gram-negative refers to a staining process for bacteria, and that is why it is Gram negative. The reason why it is usually more resistant o antibiotics is due to the LPS layer coating the bacteria. LikeLike Reply
Does citral show positive antibiotic effects against all gram positive bacteria, or does it depend on the species? LikeLike Reply
From our previous data, citral showed to have some antibiotic effects to gram positive bacteria, but I cannot say that it was for all species. LikeLike Reply
Our results did not support our hypothesis because we did not get a statistical hit like I described during the micro-titer assays. LikeLike Reply
