We know that Ampicillin is a beneficial antibiotic that effectively works against Salmonella Typhimurium. Seeing that the max dose of 1,8-Cineole has similar results suggests that it also may work well against Salmonella Typhimurium. The AMP being a positive control means we know it works and we want to compare the tested compound with that to see how well it may work.
