Why did you choose Camphor for this experiment? You said that it has many effects on relieving symptoms, immunotherapy, and antibacterial effects against Trichophyton rubrum and
Aspergillus fumigatus. How do these two bacterias relate to salmonella and did you make a connection between them?
How will camphor be used with other immunotherapies, do you expect things like car-t cells. How do you foresee this being used in an economic way and made available to people who don’t have access to western medicine.
What do you mean by a “hit”, how did you determine that camphor did kill the bacteria. Did you investigate the mechanism in which camphor killed the bacteria?
I thought this was an incredibly interesting project and now evaluating many people from this class, I think it is interesting that you all chose diversely different. What made you choose Camphor
What was the difference between the max dose experiment and the dose response experiment and what did each of those experiments tell you about the effectiveness of camphor?
Unfortunately we were only able to run those two experiments to see what the difference between our compound and our negative control amp was because we received our compound a bit due to distributor problems.
Hi Isabella! Why did you use Salmonella Typhimurium in your experiment and not Salmonella Typhi?

Our lab was specifically working with Salmonella Typhimurium because of the amount of deaths the sickness causes.

We made a connection between them because they had similar properties to Salmonella Typhimurium.

As stated in the video and on the poster a hit was anything above or below two standard deviations.

That is a great question I would have to do some more research to answer that in the future.

We knew we wanted a compound with homeopathic properties and we were already aware of lavender oil and camphor is one of the main ingredients.
