There was no expected outcome per say. The first few procedures we conducted were to determine if a phage is present or not. We were hoping for a phage when collecting samples, but it was not the expected outcome!
We obtained this phage in Broomfield, CO. It was named OARS because it was a mix of my and my lab partner’s initials that also happened to be an anime character’s name 🙂

What possibilities does your classification of phage produce clinically?

If our phage is classified and databased, it can be used in phage cocktails to treat bacterial infections that have resisted traditional antibiotics!
