    1. I would be interested in testing them on E.coli or tuberculosis because these bacteria are harmful to humans and are closely related to M.smeg.

  1. What inspired/caused you to choose a sample specifically from CU? Was there anything that you expected to see or that was surprising to see?

    1. I choose to pick a sample from a spot on CU where I spend a lot of time. It was surprising to see that our phage was a temperate phage, because most phages are lytic phages.

  2. What is the significance of the restriction enzymes you tested for in this experiment/how did you choose them?

    1. Some other common characteristics of the A1 cluster phages are that they are siphoviridae and are temperate phages, and we found that the phage we isolated had both of these characteristics. Classifying our phage as A1 provides researchers who may use or phage in future experiments our phage therapy with information about the phage that they can use to pick which phages to use.

Classifying our phage as A1 would provided future researchers with information on our phage so they could see if our phage would be useful in their research or phage therapy.
