After Phage Therapy the phage infects the bacteria by attaching to it. Then inserting its genetic material in the bacteria causes it to destroy the cell. To the naked eye after phage therapy, we will see on a plate more dots based on the phage being replicated. You don’t have to have a lytic phage but it will be hard to have the same type of phage if you don’t. This is what happened to us.

What would happen after the phage was chosen for phage therapy? Could you do gene therapy without the phage being lytic?
