These results are significant in the overall problem of antibiotic resistance because it can be used to treat any specific antibiotic-resistant bacteria and has the potential to save someones life. We did not get far enough in our experiments to be able to use our phage in the medical field. Many more experimental processes and identification like cluster and subclusters of our phage must first be determined before using this phage in the real world.
