    1. We believe that it was from an excess of nucleases added during the DNA isolation process. Since we think our phage has more fragile DNA than most, the standard amount of nuclease that we added during isolation could’ve caused that degredation.

  1. Great presentation! I jut had a clarifying question about the third result. Did you results conclude that there was an issue with the experiment as a whole, a part of the experiment, of was it invalidating that part of the research?

    1. We believe it was an issue with how we isolated our DNA, not an issue with the experiment as a whole. If we were to isolate our DNA again using less nuclease, we believe that would allow us to see valid results and continue with the process.
