As bacteriophage BT is a lysogenic phage, it would be uncommon to use temperate phage in phage therapy application with human patients as these phages may allow host bacteria to survive. However, if the phage showed good potential to infect pathogenic bacteria such as M. abscessus then it could be used for treatment.
In our experimentation process the quality control did show a low quantity of DNA in the isolate which impacted the ratio at which any electrophoresis procedures were completed at. We had to modify all the ratios from the original protocol to increase the DNA so that the results could be visualized via electrophoresis.
Once more is confirmed after PCR and such, what uses could Baby Tater have? Could it be used as an alternative form of antibiotic, or would it have uses elsewhere?
What is seen as most typical when in consideration of phage therapy, is coordinated use of a typical antibiotic regimen in addition to phage administration intravenously, orally, or topically. The use of phage and antibiotics together is seen typically as the most effective way to combat a particularly antibiotic resistant bacteria pathogen.
Well presented poster. Could Baby Tater be used in the future of medicine in phage therapy?

Why is it significant that the bacteria was determined to be low quantity?
