The main reason we used salmonella for this experiment is because out of all bacteria we could work with in order to develop an antibiotic this one was the safer, specially the strand we used that is Salmonella Typhi!
EGCg could be administrated to people taking into account that is one of the main components of green tea and we consume it. EGCg is safe for human consumption in moderate doses such as the one that is stablished as our max dose in the experiment. We where hoping to be able to make this if it was a good antibiotic in a dilution so it would be some type of syrup!
