    1. This phage is temperate so it isn’t likely that is would be able to be used to treat illness (lytic phage are typically used for it). The N cluster is a classification of phage. It essentially puts phage into categories based on their likeness.

    1. We used the formula, Titer (pfu/mL) = (pfu (number of plaques)/#µL used for the infection) X (1000µL/1mL) X (dilution factor). We got the pfu by counting the number of plaque on our plate.

  2. How did getting the values you got for the high titer lysate affect your experiment and classification of your phage?

    1. The values we got for the HTL determined if our phage were concentrated enough to move to DNA isolation. Since we had a good concentration, we were able to continue with our experiments which would later allow us to know the clasification for our phage.
