I would first look at what bacteria was causing the respiratory infection in the chickens. I would then search the phage database for several phages that infect that bacteria and combine those in a phage cocktail to treat the chickens.

Phages in the same cluster have similar characteristics and therefore are likely to infect the same bacteria.
