  1. What does Replicating Quercetin Dihydrate tell you as a future direction?

    1. By re-doing that experiment we would hope to get a definite answer on whether the Qeurcetin and Chlorogenic acid solution was effective in targeting bacteria. The current results are inconclusive.

  2. What other type of bacterium would you try to infect (would they relate to the chemical compound used in this experiment?)

    1. The main goal here is to eventually target Salmonella Typhi, in lab we use the serovar S. Typhimurium. The physical and chemical characteristics of bacteria largely determine which compounds it is weak against. These serovars are gram-negative, so if we wanted to search for other bacteria that could be targeted by the same compound that would be a great place to start!

  3. What do you think was the hardest part in this whole process? Is there anything you’d do differently?

  4. What was the hardest part for you in this whole process? And is there anything you would do differently?
